Free Computer Recycling for Schools, Colleges & Universities
IT Collections Ltd specialise in recycling and disposal for schools and colleges throughout England and Wales, collecting unwanted computers, monitors and laptops and other unwanted electrical IT items.
Our services will be provided for free if you have 20 or more items for disposal or your own or in conjunction with another school and includes full data destruction with certification and complete compliance with the Environment Agency and Hazardous Waste Regulations.
In line with the WEEE directive, our aim is to put as many of the electrical items as possible to reuse by repair and refurbishment. If any item is beyond repair it is broken down to component level for reuse or recycling. Nothing goes to landfill.
All information stored on computers and laptops is securely and permanently destroyed compliantly adhering to data protection requirements.
The service we offer is provided completely free if you have 20 or more items for disposal. This free specialized service also includes all Environment Agency paperwork and Certificates and the issuing of Data Destruction Certificates, and there are absolutely no hidden costs.
